For Ashfen co-founder Nat Weaver, the sponsorship was particularly meaningful. Growing up in Spondon and now running a local business, it was a privilege to help support a team that represents the spirit, determination and teamwork found throughout our local community.
Nat was honoured to present the players with their new shirts ahead of the season and even had the chance to try one on herself. Seeing the excitement on the girls’ faces as they received their new kit was a reminder of how important local businesses can be in helping grassroots sport thrive.
